Lois "Lou" Harris Saturday, December 6, 1958 - Sunday, July 16, 2017

Lois “Lou” Harris, 58, of Colliers, WV, formerly of Avella, passed away on Sunday July 16, 2017 in her home surrounded by family. She was born on December 6, 1958 in Weirton, WV, daughter of the late Alfred C. and Mary Hren Hamilton. Mrs. Harris was a 1976 graduate of Avella High School. She worked as a housekeeper for Andy’s Cleaning Co. in Weirton for 15 years. Mrs. Harris loved to spend time with her family and before her illness she enjoyed dancing and playing games on her computer. She had lived in Colliers since 1999. On January 16, 1976 she married Donald E. Harris, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Donald (Tori) Hamilton of Avella, Chris Harris of Follansbee, WV, Jenn Harris of Follansbee, WV; eight grandchildren, Cody, Ciara, LJ, Nic, EJ, Gage, DJ and Hunter; two great grandchildren, Lucas and Charlee; three brothers, David (Cindy) Hamilton of Clearwater, FL, Alfred Hamilton Jr. of Wellsburg, WV, William Bruce (Lisa) Hamilton of Wellsburg, WV; two sisters, Linda Jackson of Follansbee, WV, Patricia (Roger) Gubanish of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are, an infant daughter, Tricia Lynn Harris; and a sister, Mary Roth. Friends and family will be received from 3pm-7pm on Thursday, July 20, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home, Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312. Funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jerome A. I remember always hanging out at ur house every weekend and we always went places together and when i found out i was pregnant u and uncle don said i could move in with u if i needed to...u were always there for me...i love u aunt lou and i will always miss u and think about u...rip

I remember when I was younger that I would spend my summers with you and uncle Don and the kids. And you would blast the stereo, Jenn and I would dance with you. Then we would take little road trips to go get ice cream in avella. I will cherish every memory that we had together. You were a awesome aunt and I will miss you dearly. Rest in peace aunt Lou.
